Step 10 - Register Your Computer

If you must retain personal information on a networked device, register it with the Information Security Office.

Register a computer connected to the UA network in the Critical Device Registry only if you have retained personal information on the computer. Skip this step if you removed the personal information from the computer, separated the numbers from the names, replaced digits with fillers, or truncated the numbers.

For shared folders, your local IT staff should coordinate completion of the form for all users. Follow the instructions accompanying the form.

Step 11 – Certify completion
