UA Information Security received a phishing email report, where recipients are warned of "scheduled maintenance" on servers, and that an unusual virus was detected on recipient accounts.

If you receive this email, please delete it from your inbox.  If you clicked on any links or responded in any way, please contact your local IT Support or the 24/7 IT Support Center (626-8324) as soon as possible.

We are running a schedule maintenance on our servers so all our users We will suspend  your UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA-MAIL account from sending messages in 24hours time, Our system has detected an unusual virus and sign in attempt into your UA.edu mail box account, We recommend you to LOGIN <URL REMOVED> and verify your UA.edu mail account and always exit your  account using the Logout button in the upper right corner instead of just closing the tab of your browser. This serves as an additional security measure to prevent unauthorized access to your mail account.
