UA Information Security received a phishing report this morning that actually made us chuckle, as it claims to be a notification from "The University of Arizona Spam Protection Department." However, the email contains a link that contains "catnet-arizona-edu," and the URL leads to a website containing not only a UA logo, but also featured a "news feed" that looks fairly legitimate. An image of the link can be found here.
If you receive this email, delete it from your mailbox. If you responded to it, or clicked on the link and provided information, please contact your local IT support staff or the 24/7 IT Support Center (626-8324) as soon as possible.
