6/2/16 Message from Payroll Department

UA Information Security has received multiple reports of a particularly troubling phishing email.  The following screenshot illustrates the issue:

 

6/1/16 IT Services Maintenance Notice - Wednesday, 1 June

UA Information Security received a phishing email report, where recipients are asked to click on a link for the latest maintenance updates and IT system alerts.  The link is not a legitimate UA link.

If you receive this email, please delete it from your inbox.  If you clicked on the link or responded to the email in any way, please contact your local IT Support or the 24/7 IT Support Center (626-8324) as soon as possible.

6/1/16 Payments Receipts You sent a payment of $621.00 USD to sS Group ltd. Loogin Now !!

UA Information Security received a phishing email report, where recipients are told that have made a payment to PayPal for $621.00.

If you receive this email, please delete it from your inbox.  If you clicked on links or responded to the email in any way, please contact your local IT Support or the 24/7 IT Support Center (626-8324) as soon as possible.

6/1/16 Arizona Mail Alert !

UA Information Security directly received a phish that our "unverified accounts" would be shut down if we did not clink the link provided.

5/31/16 Library Services

UA Information Security received a phishing email report that appears to come from the UA Library.  However, the link in the email actually leads to a website in Gabon, and the email originates from the United Kingdom.

If you receive this email, please delete it.  If you clicked on the link or responded to the email in any way, please contact your local IT Support or the 24/7 IT Support Center (520-626-8324) as soon as possible.

5/28/16 ADMIN NOTICE

UA Information Security continues to receive multiple phishing reports that their "Arizona mailboxes" are about to expire, and that they need to click on a link in order to update their accounts.  The emails appear to be sent from UA email addresses (two listed below).

UA Information Security received a phishing email report, where recipients are warned that their mailboxes were expiring and to click a url to upgrade their mailbox.

UA Information Security received a phishing email report, where recipients are asked to reply for details on how to claim 2 million USD.

UA Information Security received a phishing email report, where recipients are asked to click a link to reallow their email to receive messages.
