Subject: ACTION REQUIRED: US Datacenter Moving
We are writing to notify you of important changes related to the delivery of services to your organization by NAVEX Global, Inc.
We remain dedicated to providing you with a consolidated, streamlined and efficient platform. As a result, we are informing you that NAVEX Global is moving the physical location of our current US datacenter from San Jose, California, to Dallas, Texas. We will cut over to the new datacenter on November 8, 2019, starting at 20:00 PST/Saturday 3:00 GMT, and you will need to add new IP addresses to your corporate whitelist to ensure continued access to our applications and servers. Please note that this is outside of our normally scheduled maintenance windows (typically the first and third Fridays of each month).
Hosting our datacenter in Dallas enables us to more effectively serve all of our customers in the US with the highest levels of data privacy and security. AT&T will continue to serve as our facilities provider in Dallas, delivering the same strong control and audit environment as our existing center in San Jose. The migration is targeted to begin in November, and will take place during regular maintenance windows in order to have as little impact to our customers as possible. The system will deliver the same functionality after the migration and should appear no different to administrators and employees on Monday morning than when they left the office on Friday evening.
Complete details are in this document, including a complete list of all new IP addresses for our new Dallas datacenter. Please work with your IT department to get these new IP addresses added to your whitelist before the end of October.
